Art journaling combines habitual self expression with a wide variety of mixed media art techniques in a fun and rewarding art-as-therapy practice. This series will break journaling down into three basic components: backgrounds, focal points, and sentiments/writing. Each session will focus primarily on one of the building blocks, examining new mixed media techniques or approaches while creating a fully finished page every class.
