The Friends of BAYarts is a volunteer based, auxiliary board for the BAYarts organization. This group of active, motivated, extraordinary young leaders is committed to the mission of BAYarts.
About Friends of BAYarts
The goal of this group is to harness the community’s passion and enthusiasm for the arts and to support the BAYarts organization through developing the next generation of leaders. They will accomplish this through connecting volunteers to opportunities to develop fundraising events, give ideas for programming, volunteer at existing events at BAYarts as well as fundraising events to support general operations of BAYarts as well as special projects.
Friends of BAYarts Goals
- Partner with the BAYarts board to engage and attract the next generation of leaders
- Raise general awareness about BAYarts in the community
- Volunteer and participate in BAYarts events
- Help develop and execute the types of events they would like to see
- Offer suggestions for programming they are seeking in the community
- Raise money annually to help support the BAYarts’ mission and to support the goals of the Friends of BAYarts
