Julie is an East Coast transplant who came here after she left teaching high school mathematics in 2019.  Having always been an artist, she decided her next venture would be pursuing her art in earnest.  Ness by Julie, her shop, started with greeting cards made from her travel photos and has expanded to include custom shoes, watercolors, wooden signs, and anything else she comes up with.  She started teaching book binding as her first art class and has expanded to include most of her media in her classes.  Julie lives in Lorain with her husband and two kiddos.  She loves guacamole and the ocean.
