Annually the BAYarts advanced ceramic students pick a theme to work on throughout the year.This gives students the opportunity to explore different techniques, ideas, inspirations and to refine their craftsmanship and create a new exciting body of work. After the disappointment of the 2020 annual exhibit being canceled; students talked about the importance of gatherings, community, breaking bread together, nature and celebrating the clay community. This was the inspiration and theme for this years show Reemerging.
