Fiber artist and Executive Director of Praxis Fiber Workshop Jessica Pinsky’s original woven work. This body of work consists of weavings that are planned and executed based on degrees of equality. In each piece there are parts that are perceived as different but are equal in many ways. By manipulating the inherent nature of different types of fibers through hand spinning to create contraction or loosening tension to create expansion, the same dimensions of cloth react in completely different ways. Pinsky is represented by Hedge Gallery in Cleveland.
