The BAYarts SOUPer Bowl makes its triumphant return on Saturday, February 7!
BAYarts welcomes back this treasured tradition: the SOUPer Bowl, a family-friendly culinary fundraiser supporting the Karen Ryle Ceramic Arts & Education Studio. Join us for a heartwarming day of community and creativity on Feb. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the BAYarts Cultural Center, as the event returns for the first time since before the pandemic.
Each ticket includes a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowl created by BAYarts faculty and students, along with the opportunity to sample an array of soups, chilis, and stews prepared by local makers and home chefs. Whether you come to cook or simply to taste and enjoy, every bowl served helps make a difference.
Guests will enjoy friendly competition, sample unique homemade soups, and vote for their favorites. The winning participant will receive the coveted BAYarts SOUPer Bowl prize—a handcrafted soup tureen and ladle made in the studio—along with a cash prize!
And, we’re still looking for soup makers! Whether you’re a professional chef, a home-kitchen pro, or have a beloved family recipe to share, we’d love for you to compete in this special community event. Contact Linda@bayarts.net for more information.
