About the Judges:

BELLAMY PRINTZ – bellamyprintz.com – Bellamy has a BA from Macalester College in St. Paul, BFA from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and MFA from The University of Washington, Seattle. She co-founded Zygote Press in 1996. Her work has been shown locally at MOCA Cleveland, William Busta Gallery, Morgan Conservatory and internationally at the Gallerie Drei in Dresden among others and is in notable private and corporate collections including the State of Ohio Governor’s Office, The Progressive Art Collection and Cleveland Clinic Collection. She is the recipient of several national and federal grants including an Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship in 1999. She and her partner at Zygote, Liz Maugans, were recipients of the Martha Joseph Award of the Cleveland Arts Prize in 2012. She is a Curator for the Art Program in Cleveland Clinic’s Arts & Medicine Institute.

JASON K. MILBURN – jasonkmilburn.com – Born and raised in the small town of Spencer, OH, Jason received his BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2003 in drawing and printmaking and recently completed his MFA in drawing at Kent State. He has exhibited locally at ARTNeo, William Busta Gallery, SPACES, Morgan Conservatory and many other local institutions, and nationally in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and North Dakota, among others. His work is in several private and corportate collections, most recently the Metro-Health Hospitals permanent collection. He is the recipient of many awards including a residency at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA from the Ohio Arts Council and an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council.
