Cherie Bauer brings her MFA Thesis Exhibition from the Savannah College of Art and Design to BAYarts. A former Bay High School art teacher, Bauer presents a new series of paintings created as the culmination of her MFA graduate studies. This new body of work entices one to stop and look longer. Complex layers of marks, symbols, and patterns invite the viewer to reflect on the tragedy, loss, survival, and growth of life’s journey.
