Work with pen and ink to build confidence in your drawings and improve your sense of composition and perspective. We will discuss the various tools to accomplish certain techniques, but will primarily work with technical pens, such as Sakura Pigma Micron pens. Demonstrations will include cross hatching, hatching, stippling, shading and the use of thick and thin lines. Value scales, gradients and light and shadow will be addressed in this beginner friendly class.
Bring your own materials. Recommended supplies will be discussed in detail during the first class.
