Each week students will discover the life and works of the world’s best known and loved artists. We will explore the techniques used by the famous artists using a variety of mediums to create their very own masterpiece. Join us and meet a few new friends too! We’ll explore Frida Kahlo- Mexican painter of expressive self portraits, Vincent Van Gogh-Dutch Post-Impressionist painter, Salvador Dali-Spanish surrealist painter, Andy Warhol-American visual artist and leading figure in Pop Art, Pablo Picasso-Spanish painter, surrealism, cubism, modern art and Yayoi Kusama-Japanese contemporary artist, “Princess of Polka Dots” known for live performance art, which the students will display for the audience at the last session of class.
