This workshop will explore the fundamentals of creating a charcoal drawing, from initial sketch to intermediate stages of blending and smudging, to fine details. We’ll start off with discussion of the medium and some exercises to get familiar, and progress to a landscape that we’ll all draw from the same reference. A carbon pencil and kneaded eraser can also be used, for finer details.
