Students will paint a colorful 12 x 16 wrapped canvas inspired by some of the furry creatures that inhabit our backyards. Starting from scratch, students will source a photo/reference, learn to grid transfer onto canvas, utilize a sta-wet palette and learn basic color theory. The class will focus on value vs. realistic color, culminating in a wonderful piece of finished artwork.
