Father and daughter artists, Rebecca and Tom Yody bring us two and three dimensional work in a show based on their lifelong collaboration. Rebecca Yody continuously strives to find new ways of expressing her artistic vision by exploring alternate creative outlets using painting techniques, texture, photos and random materials to build visual images that inspire thought and peace of mind. Tom Yody’s work is a celebration of life through his use of form and color. Both his two and three dimensional works utilize elements in the material world to draw viewers into his inner world. Yody refers to his work as “My Journey Your Journey.” While the artists work as individuals, the result is uniquely connected based on their relationship to each other.
