Paul Passano
After earning a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and Teaching Certification from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, Paul Passano began his career as a watercolor artist and a classroom teacher. He continued his artistic training by studying with several successful Cleveland area artists, including John Carlson, Patricia Sigmier, and Richard Treaster. Having always been interested in the history of art, Passano is especially inspired by the works of Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, and Andrew Wyeth. Working in a variety of traditional materials, especially watercolor, he continues to explore the forms, textures, and spaces that make up the world around us.
