BAYarts has been my creative space since I was a child. I grew up taking classes here, discovering my love for the arts and appreciating the beautiful campus next to Lake Erie. I volunteered in high school and furthered my passion for the arts.
When it came time to pursue a career as an Art Educator I knew I wanted to return to BAYarts as an instructor so that I could contribute to the lasting memories BAYarts makes for its students and patrons. I have taught students from Pre-K to Adult, from painting to duct tape, small groups and large. I can honestly say I have been blessed to share in the artistic experiences at BAYarts and to share these experiences with my husband and sons.
Trying to come up with a single memory from my years as an instructor is impossible. From painting at the beach, to dancing with 200 campers at girls camp to helping a preschool student make their first marks on a canvas – BAYarts has a special place in my heart. We are fortunate to have this campus as a staple to Bay Village.
