The mission of BAYarts is to provide a welcoming lakeside environment to stimulate, encourage and support professional and aspiring artists of all ages through collaboration, education and exhibition

A Little History

Founded in 1948 as Baycrafters in Bay Village, it was the dream of local artists to bring art and cultural opportunities to the quickly growing surrounding communities on Cleveland's west side known for quality art education and events.

BAYarts Today

Building on decades of excellence in arts education, professional opportunity and service to Northeast Ohio, BAYarts has become a destination is now focused on its future sustainability and development. The membership and community have overwhelmingly expressed their gratitude to BAYarts and look to continue support for an inspiring and welcoming arts center in their community. The future is bright as educational programs are excelling in enrollment and Gallery exhibits and a summer concert series are both drawing capacity crowds.
